Admission Procedure

GENERAL INFORMATION

Mother Teresa Mission Higher Secondary School, Kanpur is a private, minority, non/aided educational institution run by the Mother Teresa Mission Society.
The school is a PG to Class XII Institution. The school is affiliated to the CISCE, New Delhi.

Admissions are made to following classes during the academic year:

PG (Children of age 2.5 to 3 years)

Registration and Admission Procedure

  • Admission is open to all, irrespective of class, creed, and community.
  • Admission to P.G. is ordinarily given to students who have attained the age of two and a half½ years at the commencement of the academic year.
  • A child's name will not be registered for admission unless the undermentioned information has been provided by the parents.
    1. The Birth Registration Certificate in original for verification. No change in the date of birth will be permitted later under any circumstances.
    2. The latest Progress Report of the child, if the child has been attending a recognised school. After the above requirements have been completed to the entire satisfaction of the Principal, the child's name will be registered for the session.

Registration Fee and Admission Fee is not refundable.

The registration of a child's name does not carry guarantee of admission. Admission depends on the following:

  • The child must attain the prescribed minimum standard in the admission test to be eligible for admission.
  • After the applicant has qualified in the admission test, his / her admission will depend on the number of seats available in the class for which the applicant is registered.
  • Admission will be granted at the sole discretion of the Principal. Consideration will be given to children whose siblings have studied in this school (provided the applicant qualified the Admission Test).
  • The School Rules are subject to change at the discretion of the school. The admission of a child will mean a complete acceptance by the parent(s)/guardian(s) to all the School Rules as in force or as amended from time to time.
  • Before the child is accepted for admission a Transfer Certificate from his / her previous school (duly countersigned by the Competent Educational Authority) must be submitted to the school.
  • All new admissions are on probation for a year. Children, who make little progress owing to persisting idleness or proved incapacity, may be required to leave at the end of the year.
  • The school reserves the right of refusing admission/re-admission without assigning any reason for doing so.

REGISTRATION FORMS

  • All registration forms are to be duly filled and submitted to the school, with relevant documents as per the schedule given.
  • Late submission of application forms will not be entertained.
  • Original documents must be shown at the time of verification or the forms will not be accepted.
  • Registration forms will be submitted by candidates selected for admission, with the required receipt of fees paid and all necessary documents by the date and time specified. Admission forms submitted thereafter for whatever reason shall not be entertained.

The selection for admission of students will be cancelled if:

  • Admission forms are submitted with incomplete information or incomplete documents.
  • Non-payment of fees may lead to cancellation of admission.
  • Duly filled admission forms not submitted within the date and time specified.

SELECTION LIST

There shall be a Selection List of candidates selected for admissions. The said list shall be displayed on the bulletin board at the school gate on the next working day of the entrance examination. Admission should be taken within three working days otherwise the seat shall be allotted to the next candidate.
